One of the popular
tasty and lip-smacking recipes that
originated from the United States
is the chicken burger. This
chicken burger recipe was invented by ‘Truth Cathy’ and is
generally prepared with a bun and
a filling of chicken inside with various sauces. This recipe is very popular and
served in restaurants. Anyone can easily prepare burgers at home with some of
the few ingredients. To make the chicken burger recipe healthier you
can either use an air fryer or even you
can bake the chicken. Generally,
the chicken burger is prepared with a fillet of chicken inside the soft buns,
sauces, veggies, lettuce, etc. But here I have made it differently with some boneless
chicken pieces. Hope you all will like it. You can follow my method
if you don’t have a fillet of chicken,
the option is up to you.

Ingredients
Marination:-
*300 gms of
chicken
*1/4th of lemon
* ½ teaspoon of
black pepper powder
* Chopped garlic
(7 – 8 pieces)
* Chopped ginger
Preparing chicken
patty:-
* 1 tablespoon
of white oil
* ½ teaspoon of
fenugreek leaves or Kasuri methi
* one medium
size chopped onion
* Chopped
garlic(5-6)
* Salt as
required
* Coriander
leaves
Preparation of
sauce:-
* 4 tablespoons
of mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons
of tomato sauce
* ½ cup chopped
lettuce leaves
Final
preparation of chicken burger:-
* two soft
burger bread
* Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon
* 2 cheese
sheet
* ½ cucumber
chopped
* ½ tomato sliced
* ½ chopped onion
Paprika, chilli
flakes, oregano which is optional.
How to Make Chicken
Burger or Chicken Burger Recipe?
Marination of
the chicken:-
Step 1) Take
300gms of solid piece of chicken and marinate it with lemon, black pepper
powder, garlic, and ginger and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes. If you
use the chicken fillet you can adopt the same procedure.
Preparation of chicken patty:-
Step 2) Take a
frying pan or kadai and add 1 tablespoon of white oil.
Step 3) When the oil gets heated add a few fenugreek leaves or kasuri methi and add a few chopped garlic.
Step 4) Stir it thoroughly and add one medium-sized chopped onion, fry it properly and sauté it.
Step 5) Add the pieces of marinated chicken and fry them properly so that the chicken pieces become soft from within.
Step 6) Add the required quantity of salt and sauté the ingredients properly.
Step 7) After
the mixture gets fried properly add black pepper powder as required.
Step 8) After the mixture is ready add the coriander leaves put the chicken fillings or mixture in a bowl and keep it aside to cool it.
Step 9) Then with the help of your hand take some quantity of chicken fillings and make a round patty. If it gets broken from between add some flour to the fillings for its proper blending.
Step 10) One by one keep the chicken patty on a dish and keep it aside.
Alternative to this method:-
Step 11) You can
also prepare the chicken patty differently. If you have chicken pieces, blend
them into the mixer grinder with chopped onion, garlic, kasuri methi, or
fenugreek leaves and make a smooth thick paste. Then with your hand make
a round-shaped patty with the mixture and you can fry it or bake it.
Step 12) Take a tawa, place the chicken patty, and fry it
with some amount of oil, till the chicken patty becomes golden brown and
keep it aside on a dish.
Preparation of
sauce:-
Step 13) In a
mixing bowl add 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, some chopped lettuce
leaves, and 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce. You can also add oregano, or
any spice mix to this peace which is optional.
Step 14) Mix the sauce properly and keep it aside.
Final preparation of chicken burger:-
Step 15) Take two soft burgers cut them into
two halves from the middle and keep them aside on
a plate.
Step 16) Take a tawa heat the buns for some minutes and keep it on the plate.
Step 17) To the one half of the burger add the sauce which was prepared and kept in the bowl. Add tomato ketchup to the other half of the burger.
Step 18) Then add the chicken patty over the burger with the sauce.
Step 19) Add the lettuce leaves to one part of the burger.
Step 20) Then add a sheet of cheese over the one half of the burger.
Step 21) Then add again the additional sauce to make it more creamy and smooth.
Step 22) Add sliced cucumber over one-half of the burger.
Step 23) Add the sliced tomatoes to one of the halves of the burger.
Step 24) Add chopped onion slices to one half of the burger and add the black pepper powder.
Step 25) Then cover one half of the bread with the other half of the bread and the hot and spicy burger is ready to serve.
Step 26) You can serve this chicken burger with French fries and cold drinks.

* Proper quality
chicken:- Use proper quality of chicken to prepare the chicken burger either use
the boneless chicken from the thigh with good fat or chicken breast which are
juicy for preparation of burger.

seasonings:- You can add any
variety of spices and herbs of
your choice like paprika, chilli flakes, garlic powder, onion
powder, other seasonings, etc.
* Cooking
process:- You can grill the chicken burger which will
provide a nice smoky flavour, or you can bake also you can also fry
it to give a crispy texture.

properly with flour so that it does not break from within.
* Keep the burger moist:- To make the burger more juicy and moist add mayonnaise properly, grated onion, and minced garlic to maintain the moisture of the chicken burger.
