Ingredients:
* Fresh button mushroom of 250 gm cleaned and sliced
* 1 inch of ginger piece, grated
* 1 capsicum ( green), thinly sliced
* 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
* 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
* 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce
* 1 teaspoon of vinegar
* 1 teaspoon of sugar
* 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
* Salt to taste
* 2 tablespoons cooking oil
* Spring onion finely chopped for serving
Instructions:
Step 1: First take 250 gm of button mushrooms in a bowl and rinse it thoroughly.
Step 2: Cut the mushroom which are medium in size and keep intact the smaller ones and clean it thoroughly with hot water.
Step 3: In a bowl add 6 tablespoon of flour and 3 tablespoon of cornflour or cornstarch.
Step 4: Then add ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder and salt as per taste.
Step 5: Add ¼ cup of water and mix it thoroughly to make the perfect consistency.
Step 6: Take a frying pan or kadai and heat white oil as required . Take each pieces of mushroom slice, dip it into the batter and coat it evenly.
Step 7: Then add the mushroom into the heat oil. See that the heat is in medium flame while frying the mushrooms.
Step 8: Fry the mushrooms until it becomes golden brown and crispy.
Step 9: Then fry the mushrooms and keep it on the plate with tissue paper or paper towel to remove the excess oil absorbed in it.
Step 10: Take one yellow bell pepper and one green capsicum and cut it into pieces in a bowl.
Step 11: In the frying pan heat the oil and add some chopped garlic and ginger and saute it very well.
Step 12: Then add the yellow bell pepper and capsicum and fry it until done.
Step 13: Add one spoon of soya sauce and stir it very well.
Step 14: Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar into the mixture and stir it continuously.
Step 15: When the gravy becomes ready add the fried mushroom and sauté it very well.
Step 16: Then add some water with one tablespoon of cornstarch to make the perfect gravy of the chilli mushroom.
Step 17: Then serve the hot chilli mushroom with some spring onion chopped over and black pepper powder
