A chicken sandwich is a sandwich which consists of boneless chicken and fenugreek leaves, that is kasuri methi, served with slices of bread, dipped in mayonnaise, which makes the morning breakfast and exciting one .A sandwich is always a rich nutrient  food which helps in maintaining a balanced diet, constituting  balanced protein, fiber and good fat for maintaining energy.

Chicken Sandwich

    Ingredients needed to make chicken sandwich.

 

1) Shredded (200gm) chicken breast, chopped and minced.

2) Sliced sandwich bread( 4 pieces.)

3) Onion(1tbsp)

4) Garlic (1tbsp)                                                               

5) Ginger (1tbsp)

6) Kasuri Methi (1tbsp)

7) Mayonnaise (1tbsp)

8) Salt (As required)

9) Black pepper (As required)

10) Refined oil (As required).

 

 Method to make chicken sandwich.

*Heat the oil in the pan and add kasuri methi, onion paste, ginger and garlic paste and stir it until they are fried.

*Then add the shredded chicken into the mixture and saute  it well.

Put the entire stuffing in a bowl and add the mayonnaise and mix them well and keep a side.

 *Take the slices of bread and toast it with some sprinkle of oil.

 *Then fill  the stuffing in the sandwich and fry it  or grill it.

 *Then finally serve the hot sandwich with tomato sauce and get exciting Aroma and flavour.

  Variations or various alternatives that you can try


a)         You can add a layer of sliced cheese or graded cheese while making the sandwich        Oregano can be used at the time of mixing with the mayonnaise .                               Multigrain bread can be used or ragi bread can also be an option.
