An exciting recipe for kids as well as family which can be served in any family parties like birthday snacks, starters, etc is chicken nuggets.This crispy chicken nuggets are drenched with flour, egg, breaderumb ,herbs etc and is deeply fried in oil which gives a brown look. This chicken nuggets when served hot with mayonnaise and cheesy juice inside makes one very exciting and tempting. This recipe is very popular in restaurant menus and can be easily made at home with various ingredients.The home made chicken nuggets are always better than the frozen which are available in store since it contains lot of artificial chemical ingredients.

  Ingredients Used For The Recipe


The ingredients which are used to make the cheesy chicken nuggets recipes includes : 

 1) Chicken:- The boneless chicken is used , if can either be the thigh part or the breast part. The thigh part of the chicken is more softer .

2) Oregano :- The oregano which is available in the nearby grocery is used for addition of flavour or any kind of Italian seasoning can be a great option.

3) Cheese:- I used the cheese cubes or the blocks for my chicken nuggets recipe.

4) Egg:- Egg is the mandatory ingredients for dredging of the chicken.

5) Garlic powder:- Garlic powder or garlic paste can be used to add flavour to the recipe .

6) Onion powder:- Onion powder or onion paste is used for added flavour to the food.

7) White flour:- White flour is also used for dredging the chicken.

8) Coriander leaves:- Coriander leaves is added to the mixture of minced chicken for the added taste.

9) Salt and black pepper:- These are used in the mixture of the chicken as per taste and  requirement.

10) Breadcrumb:- Breadcrumb is used for binding the chicken and crispyness before frying in the oil.

11) Boiled potato:- This can be also used a little for making the minced chicken binding little harder. This step can be optional as per choice .

12) Vegetable oil:- Oil is must for deep frying of the chicken .White oil , canola oil can be a option .

In short : 500gm of groung chicken , Salt , Black pepper as per taste, Blocks of cheese, 50gm of breadcrumbs, Dried oregano, ½ cup of flour, 2 eggs, oil as per requirement.

  Various Steps and  procedures

  Step 1.:-  Seasoning the chicken

 ˃ Firstly, the minced chicken must be kept in a bowel and oregano , salt, black pepper , must be added to the ground chicken.Various Italian herbs can also be a great option if available.

 ˃ Then garlic powder , onion powder must be added to the ground chicken and also a little quantity of boiled potatoes can be also be added.

 ˃ Coriander leaves to be added in the mixture.

 ˃ Then mix the mixture in the bowl thoroughly with spoon or use your hand.

 ˃ Then take 2 tablespoons of ground chicken mixture and make it into a ball shape.

 ˃ Then ,it must be flattened and likewise the block of cheese must be kept in the center, and then again it must be rolled into a ball shape.

 ˃ All the balls must be made and keep aside on the plate.


   Step2:- Dredging the chicken nuggets.

 ˃ Each of the chicken balls must be dredged in egg, flour and breadcrumb separately. So a separate bowl is neded for egg, flour and breadcrumbs.

 ˃ Firstly , the chicken nuggets should be soaked in egg,then in flour and lastly in the breadcrumbs.

 ˃ All the other chicken nuggets must be done in the same ways as discussed and kept in the plate.


   Step3:- Deep frying of the nuggets.

 ˃ Vegetable oil or any oil of choice can be poured in a frying pan before deep frying the nuggets.

 ˃ The nuggets must be given in the oil when the oil is hot.

˃ It must be deep fried until it is golden brown in colour.

 ˃ I placed the paper towel on the plate for absorbing the excess oil from the nuggets before transferring it into the plate. Dry tissue paper can also be used for soaking extra oil.

 ˃ After deep frying , the hot and crispy chicken nuggets can be served with mayonnaise, tomato ketchup even salad can be a great option along with it.

 

                                   Important  advice and tips.

1) The ground chicken can be used from thigh portion instead of breast since it is more softer.

2) Before making chicken balls, hand must be wet with oil to avoid drying and sticking.

3) These chicken nuggets can be used as a filling of burger and sandwiches.

4) Mozzarella cheese can be used instead of block cheese.

5) Storing of chicken nuggets when it is fried is maximum for 7 days, not more than that.

6) Don’t eat these chicken nuggets very frequently, as anything deep fried is never healthy since it contains high quantity of cholesterol.

7) Baking in the oven can be done which is a great option.

8) Air fryer can also be used for the preparation to avoid oil.
